Has this ever happened to you…?

I thought I was doing something. I opened up my box of goodies for my lady one evening and was excited because I had maybe 5 jars (with an eighth a piece), each containing a different strain of something good. Don’t get me wrong, we had a very good time. We got to play with the different strains to see which ones she liked better than others, we combined pretty much all of the strains individually and found that some strains work better when paired with other strains (I call them secondary strains), some strains together have some serious effects. It was a good time.

Next go round we go to her place. She pulls out a nug (of 3 Kings) about the size of my forearm, and got it at an unbelievable price. And I’m sitting there like… It is time for me to reevaluate some things going on in my life!

If you knew you could do anything for a day… What would you do?

Hmmm? Let me think… as I sit here and watch this “Amazing Spider Man” movie, medicated of course, I am having a burst of ideas. Something different… I’d say for 24 hours, my day would consist of this: For every different hour, which is 24, I will get you use the powers of 24 of my favorite comic book characters. An hour at a time.

I mean for a moment… can you really imagine the guts it takes to not only climb the heights he does, but jumping, free falling and SWINGING on his own body weight thru the air at speeds I wouldn’t dare to test out in no kind of vehicle. Until I learn to teleport at will, bu that’s a completely different thought all together. Imagine being able to walk along and touch that school gym ceiling. Jumping xx amount of feet in the air on that skateboard, on the court, or roller blades, or maybe just jumping for the sake of jumping.

I’d have to get back to you later as far as my 24 characters goes… hell, Idunno if I even have 24

Mac & Devin go to HIGH School

By far one of my favorite albums to medicate to. Not the only one, but it is surely one of my favorites!

Snoop and Wiz… What a combination?! The album is just perfect for those good ol’ “ADS” days. Oh what is ADS you ask? “Ain’t Doing Shit!” …Y’kno, those days where you don’t have to go to work, don’t have anything that needs to be done, no reason to leave the house, so you just throw your hands up and head to the kitchen in your boxers, undies, or if you are like me… your birthday suit, make you the biggest bowl of (insert your favorite cereal), head back to your room where you have you a bowl packed of something special. And in no particular order, you inhale the contents of each of the bowls in hand and just enjoy the fucking day for what it is!

The album has so many HIGHlights, I really don’t know where to begin on it. Overall, It is a well put together album and if you want to take it a step further, invite some of your best BUDs over, turn on your Netflix and watch the Mac & Devin go to HIGH School Movie! Which is just as awesome!

The BONG! …errr, ummm… Glass Pipe!

Since I learned how to roll late, when I really began smoking I figured I had to get me a pipe. I had seen some really cool looking ones online, and I knew of a shop that specialized in glass ware. Well, when I got there the guys working that day were extra cool, very knowledgeable and were more tan happy to share what they knew. Long story short, I ended up getting my first ‘water pipe’ that day… and have been happy ever since!

 

After my first one, I checked online and found that there was a whole community of people out there in love with glass and the art there in. I even learned about (and watched) this movie called “Degenerative Art” which gives you an in depth and behind the scenes look into that world, the world of Glass blowing. It is indeed a sight to see, especially medicated! Oh yea, as I was saying before I got sidetracked… after my first one, I began searching for others. Other people like me who named their piece, other people who liked the art, others who… hell when you smoke, you are just happy to see other people smoking good. I had taken some time to get familiar with the terminology, because I had no clue what arms and percs were, and it was just a lot at the time. I had found maybe 3 sites that specialized in glass (that I was interested in), and got comfortable enough with one and made my first order. And since their prices were pretty reasonable, I made sure to check them often. They haven’t failed me yet. My collection is still at a beginner level (3 Pieces), but slowly but surely it is growing.

I wonder if we did this to them growing up…

I really wish these film companies would really leave the CLASSICS ALONE! Stop remaking or trying to remake those certain golden oldies, that need not be touched, for they were perfection just as they were!

Why are these companies afraid to try something new? I’m not even going to ask why the viewers are still watching, because we already know why… but where is the new material? the fresh Ideas?!

Don’t get me wrong. Some of the old stuff would look good redone for the new day in age, but at the same time with the same breath some stuff just needs to be left as is. I wouldn’t mind seeing Sequels or spin offs of certain films, but to remake them and just miss the mark all together, would leave a really bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths.

And I won’t even begin to get started on movies based on Comic book or video game characters!

That’s why Ifux with fan made films. Independent made films.

I can’t wait till my stories are completed. I’m going to be looking for a team ASAP to get to work on making a screenplay or an animated film. Fresh new ideas. I need to get back into reading again. I see my help is needed in the world of creativity!

Stoner Significant Others… or Significant Stoners

There is absolutely nothing like having a lover that will share the experience with you. To me (and those who are lucky) the feeling you get from being able to kick back, relax and burn one with that one special person, tops everything else.

When I first began talking to my lady, I was kind of apprehensive about revealing that tidbit of information at first but at the same time I felt that if we were going to be together, then I should not have to hide anything about myself with her especially. At first I thought she was going to turn her nose up and make some quirky remarks that I would have to (We)Educate her on but then the wildest thing happened… she confessed that not only did she not mind, but she did too.

We have been best buds ever since!

The talks last longer, the music is sweeter, we appreciate each others silliness, we laugh and joke and have tons of fun together. It is just a wonderful thing to have someone that you don’t have to hide from, or worry about judging you for your choices or anything for that matter.

Don’t get me wrong, smoking with other people is great… but being in the company of that one person and being able to share that part of yourself with them, that is a whole ‘nother level of love.

You know you are high when…

The music in your head, maybe it was the last song you heard, a commercial that just went off, or that one song that’s been stuck in your head all damn day… yea, that song!

You know that you are high when that song (in your head), gets louder!

Ever have a severe case of the Munchies?

So much to the point where it didn’t matter what you ate, or how much, it never really did the trick. That is the worse. It’s like your stomach becomes this black hole, that can seemingly never be filled nor satisfied.

This has also been the reason for crazy food combinations, and or thinking some things would be a good idea, when clearly they are not.

Here’s one of my truths…

This one time, I was heavily medicated on a high grade indica (I wish I knew which strain in particular), and it had me feeling like I was made of stone. Now this story is actually the reason I prepare my food/snacks etc before I medicate. Not even 10 minutes into my buzz, I got hungry… like really hungry. If you don’t know, Indica’s come with a body high, which usually means your body feels like everything on you is much heavier than it is. Your arms are 20 lbs heavier, your legs are 10 lbs heavier, YOU become 60 lbs heavier and your head 10 lbs. This is where that term “Couch Lock” comes from, where ever you are… that is where you want to stay. The chair, the bed, or for most the couch. Where ever it is, you are kind of planted there, and it is usually a good idea to stay there.

Well, I got hungry… and something had to be done. This is where things got interesting…

So I got up, the kitchen was only a room away but the walk there took almost forever. My legs were extremely heavy, and walking was nearly impossible. It felt like 10 or more minutes had passed before I actually made it to the kitchen, and when I got there I was so happy that I had made it that I celebrated with a small victory dance! I had some of those Gorton’s fish patties in the freezer, so I took two out and put them in the oven. Surprisingly it worked out pretty well, I didn’t forget they were in there and they didn’t burn or anything. They came out damn near perfect! Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. I decided to add bread and make sandwiches out of them. Well this is where High shit starts happening. I couldn’t decide on which condiments to put on these sandwiches… I had a lot of options and they all sounded pretty damn good.

Long story short… I ended up with 2 Fish and cheese sandwiches both made with I side Ketchup & Mayo, the other side Honey Mustard and BBQ sauce. And you know what, they were DEEEE-licious!

What crazy combinations have you found yourself consuming due to the Munchies? Or How much have you eaten in a sitting, that would any other time be too much?

Godfather OG Better known as “The DON” (of OG’s)

So I was lucky enough to get my paws on some of this Godfather OG, getting straight to the point… It holds up to it’s name! I’m kind of upset that it was gone before I could get some more. Maybe it’s the name, but the high is very “Sophisticated” as I like to say. After the first two pulls (yes, I chose to roll this one up) you feel the buzz almost immediately. For me I would know I was good when it felt like I was either underwater floating, or on a cloud. It makes you feel almost weight-less for a portion of time, and if very pleasant. Thoughts, vision, hearing… everything becomes clearer. There is little to no confusion, and a slight shift in your body weight, which you should expect from an indica strain.

“The DON” is a cross between Granddaddy Purple and OG Kush, with a kush like spiciness in its scent, with some subtle grape tones. The buzz is strong, lasts for quite a while, you will surely talk more and it will open your eyes to some things you may have overlooked before.

I enjoyed this strain quite a bit. This is one I would put up and only smoke on special occasions or with special people. I’m glad I didn’t turn this one down.

Strain Reaction!

If you are like me and pay attention to the effects of the particular strain you are dealing with, then you know what to expect and what kind of feelings/energies you are about to be dealing with. What I have figured out is that some strains although good by themselves, work best when paired with another strain. Some to balance out the high, some to enhance the feelings, some go together just because it sounds like a good idea.

Some strains I like as a pair… 1) Sour Diesel x Cheese 2) Blue Dream x Cheese 3) Lemon Diesel x Blue Candy Kush 4) Sour Diesel x Green Crack

1) Cheese by itself is an awesome strain. It enhances thoughts and has a bit of an edge to it. I call it “Thoughts with Attitude” and Sour as you should know is like mental steroids, your thoughts are super pumped and extra creative. Added to the cheese and you have a cluster of super strong thoughts on speed.

2) Blue Dream and Cheese … all of the thoughts your thoughts are having on the Blue Dream, the Cheese makes you verbalize what you are thinking. Which is always a good time when you have no idea what you are talking about!

3) Lemon Diesel and Blue Candy Kush… wow! It’s almost like that movie “The Hangover” minus the amnesia. You think of the wildest stuff, crazy things begin to happen around you, lots of talking and laughing, and when you come down, you have to remember minor details.

4) Green Crack is a force by itself… plain and simple! But mix it with some good Sour D, and you are in for a bang!
